Summer at the Johnson Museum

Summer at the Johnson Museum

Discover new exhibitions, the Cosmos light installation, and an I. M. Pei building all summer long at the Johnson Museum of Art.

Admission is always free.

Don’t miss our summer party on Friday, July 18, 5-7 p.m.!

Why do artists choose certain techniques, and how do those choices tell a story? Explore the intriguing diversity of printmaking techniques in the exhibition The Language of Prints, on view through July 28.

Studio quilts featuring vibrant abstract and geometric designs are featured in the exhibition Bold by Design: Art Quilts from the Collection of Jack Walsh, on view through August 17. Compare these contemporary quilts to antique quilts from the Museum’s collection, as well as works on paper that share a visual kinship.

This summer the Museum is also offering “Yoga and Art” sessions Tuesdays at noon and Wednesday workshops at 2:30 p.m.

Visit museum.cornell.edu/calendar/all for more information and a complete schedule.
