Encountering the Floating World: Ukiyo-e and the West (on view now through December 22) explores the relationship between Japanese prints from the 19th and 20th century and Western fine and decorative art.

The Museum will celebrate the fine and performing arts of Japan at a free family-friendly event on
Saturday, October 19 from 1 to 4 PM.

Laylah Ali: The Greenheads Series (on view now through December 22) introduces us to strange, green-headed beings of indeterminate age, gender, and race who populate scenes of enigmatic situations.

Artist Laylah Ali will give a free gallery talk about her work on Thursday, October 24 at 5:15 PM.

Visible day and night on the ceiling of the Museum's second-floor sculpture court, Leo Villareal: Cosmos celebrates its first birthday this October!

This site-specific installation puts 12,000 LEDs in constant motion. Visitors can see the work anytime from outside, or stand beneath it on the outdoor sculpture court during regular hours (weather permitting).

The Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays from
10 AM to 5 PM, and admission is always free.
